Problem after uptade to 10.5.6
Hi,
My hackintosh was working fine, but I accepted an update to 10.5.6 and now it just doesn't start. Can I unistall it or I have to reinstall everything from the begining?
Actually it keeps in a kind of loop during the boot. Using the option -v in the boot, the following messagens apear:
(in Yellow color)
Failed to load extension com.orByte.driver.PCGenUSBEHCI.
Class "AppleEHCIedMemoryBlock" is duplicated
Duplicate Class
Kmod_control/start failed for com.orByte.driver.PCGenUSBEHCI; destroying kmod
Failed to load extension com.orByte.driver.PCGenUSBEHCI.
[Attansicl 1 Ethernet] Error: Mac Adress through SPI is invalid
After about 20 seconds, this message in white:
Still waiting for boot device
A new message like this last one appears every 20-30 seconds... forever.
Is there an way to start the system from de DVD drive?
Can I unistall the update from the DVD?
I have 2 independent Operational Systems, installed in 2 different HDDS, OS X and Windows XP, from which a can acess the OS X HDD using the MacDrive software. Can I delete the update files from the Windows?
Please guys, help me!!!
Thanks

Yes.
Yes.
1. Boot in to your install disc (I have tested it on Kalyway)
2. Press F8 add Darwin
3. And typ rd=disk0s1 and press enter.
If you have installed on disk 0 and preparation 1
If you have installed it on disk 1 and preparation 2 you have to typ rd=disk1s2
you now ?
Maybe its not working becaus you dont have installed your update on the good way.
Good Luck
