Problem after install (Panic Error)
I installed iATKOS 7i 10.5.7 on my gateway 7811 fx today. When I try to boot to mac it gets stopped on the sliver apple screen. I rebooted and typed in -v-f and I get this error.
panic (cpu 0 caller 0x001949BD): "pamap_flush_tlbs() timeout: "" cpu (s) failing to respond to interrupts /pamp=0x650600 cpus_to respond= 0x2" @/extra/buildxnu/xnu-1228.12.14 10 sfmk/i386/pamp.c:4582 debugger called : <panic> backtrace (cpu0), frame : return address (4 potential args onstack)
or something very similar to that. What does that mean? I will try different things under customize. If I add something in customize can I take it back out/uninstall it thought customize later?
Here is my laptop specs
Intel core duo cpu p8400 @2.26GHz 2.27 GHz
4GB ram
500GB seagate HDD
Nivida ge force 9800
I just erased everything and reinstalled here is what I used in customize
iatkosv7 main system
chameleon v2
9.5.0 voodoo kernel
apple decrypt
disabler
open halt restart(ohr)
voodoo hda
smbios enabler
extra directory
dsdt
cardbus driver
voodoo ps/2 driver
under network I put wireless
sata/ide
post install actions.
While it is installing the blue bar does not go all the way to the end then restart/shuts off.
the words installing mac os x leopard on volume " MAC OS X" the blue bar goes to install ma that is as far as it goes. Then I get a check mark saying the install was successful. I pop out the disk as it is rebooting. Then it get back to the sliver apple screen and I get this message.
panic(cpu 0 caller 0x00192EEA): "pamp_flush_tlbs() timeout: "" cpu(s) failing to respond to interrupts, pamp=0x64f500 cpus_to_respond=oxz" @ / voodoo kernel/xnu-1228.7.58/ospmk/i386/pmap.c:4580
Any help on this would be great.
thanks mike

Ok I got it booting now. I have the trackpad and laptop keyboard working. I'll post what settings I used after I get done tweaking them.
