Vanilla Install Quartz

Hello,

I just installed OSX via a retail DVD using the generic.iso found here that uses the modified kext's

I burned the CD, booted, installed, booted.

Everything actually worked. However, i'm not able to enable Quartz for my 7600GT video card that I know supports it. (iDeneb 10.5.5 it works fine).

I've tried adding NVinject.kext to the initrd.img file and burned a new boot Cd, but that didn't solve the problem? Any sort of suggestions or fixes would be greatly appreciated.
