Vaio Laptop install - osX doesn't see HDD
i've got Sony Vaio FW140E\H
- Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU P8400 @ 2.26GHz, (x86, x86-64, MMX, SSE, SSE2, SSE3, SSSE3)
- Mobile Intel(R) 4 Series Express Chipset Family (256 Mb)
- Intel GMA 4500MHD Dynamic Video Memory Technology 5.0
- Intel 82801IB ICH9 - High Definition Audio Controller
- HDD Serial ATA-150
when trying to install Leo4All from DVD - it shows the installation screen, goes thru all the licenses\agreements and then when i have to pick on which drive i want osX to be installed - it shows nothing in the list.
I have C (primary drive with XP installed), D (storage drive just for my files), and F (for Mac installation). I tried formatting it in FAT32, leaving it without File System defined but it returns same result: no disks in the list.
i had similar problem when installing XP - the HDD couldn't be recognized so i had to download the driver for it and put it in the XP installation CD.
Please, help me out with this since i am crazy about getting osX installed to my Vaio!
thanks in advance!
