So apparently Leopard won't install on MBR partitions...
Hey everybody, I've been a lurker for a few days. I managed to get Leopard installed on this Intel PM965 Chipset laptop (it's a Gateway P-6831), and although I am still lost on how to get wireless Internet, I was satisfied.
But I had to make my hard drive a GUID partition to do so, and likewise, to install Vista, I needed to format my hard drive to MBR.
I did indeed read the guide on how to dual-boot, but I do not have access to all of the resources it requires. What I do have on me is:
1.) Retail OS X disc
2.) Boot-132 CD
3.) Random drivers and stuff on a CD
Short of actually going out to buy a second hard drive to dedicate to Leopard, can I still manage to dual boot with what I have? My roommate does have a Mac, but nothing fancy on it (aka Toast Titanium).
Many, many thanks in advance! :)
