Signed up to say: this worked like a charm for me! Downloaded CPU-Z to find my CPU multiplier (14 for my Phenom II X6 1055T). Booted in VirtualBox with busratio=14

I am practically exhausted. I have this rtclock_init panic problem and I saw most of it solve by adding bussratio="multiplier". But where actually do u change that in virtualbox? As in which option give u the ability to insert those code in VB?

When its booting an you press F8 where its on that black screen and white text, just type the following: -v busratio="multiplier"

I know this in an old thread but I had this problem with the latest VirtualBox.

I corrected this boot/install error by VirtualBox -> Settings -> System -> Chipset (Was set to IH9 or something, selected PIIX3)

This is Virtualbox 4+

Actually that's not correct! busratio=16 worked

But I have a problem after it installs and restarts I get FATAL: No bootable medium found System Halted.

If I don't remove the cdrom drive it says System config file /com.apple.Boot.plist was not found
