Replacing Extensions with Terminal ?
I had a perfectly working Leopard installation with the latest version of iTunes, QuickTime and Java. Until I screwed with the Extensions.
I did not have the Battery meter in the menu bar so I downloaded the Extensions from here: RapidShare: Easy Filehosting
And replaced the files in the Extensions folder and rebooted. And now I see a gray screen with the reboot computer message and it shows that the Mac OS version is not defined.
So, I guess the only way to fix this is by using Terminal and replacing the original kexts from the desktop to the Extensions folder...
Here are my questions:
1. Is there a simpler way of repairing this?
2. Whats the Terminal command to move a file from Desktop to Extensions folder. ?
