Problems installing. worked the 1st time, why not now?

The first time I installed Kalyway it installed correctly everything worked fine...then I tried to update it.... needless to say it wouldnt boot back up. so I tried to re-install it. I installed it again a couple of times tring to use various update cracks. none worked so I reinstalled for wat I planned to be my last time but it didnt have m ethernet drivers, so I kept installing it over and over trying to figure out wat i did the 1st time to make it all work. I need help please. I have been reinstalling this w/ various options for about 4 or 5 days. I have a Asus M3A78-T Motherboard, the only thing I'm not using thats not on the motherboard. I'm new to trying to put Mac OSX on a PC but I built this PC so I know what I'm doing when it comes to PCs.

forgot to mention I'm installing Mac OSX 10.5.2

ok so I just got it installed but my internet still doesnt work. I'm trying to download iDeneb because I know of an install w/ my same motherboard. that will be downloaded in aobut a day. but if I can get this to work beforehand it would be awesome, please any help would be great

From what I'm told you can't update the kalyway by just clicking update. I tried kalyway,iatkos 5i,iPc and ideneb 1.4 and had the least problems with iatkos. As for ur Internet did u choose the correct one in the customize options.

i chose all the options in internet "drivers" and the first time I did it it worked. I dont know whats going on with it. i tried to install windows 7 back in it today just so i could get it running and windows couldnt install to it. i tried to format it and it and the windows installer cant even format it. I really need this computer up and running. I'm using my laptop currently and it isnt nearly as powerfull to do the things I need to do. I have been on a forum with someone with my exact motherboard who got it up and runnin w/o a hitch. running iDeneb

every time i failed to install it i would reformat the drive and try again. if you are trying to put windows 7 back on the same drive you failed to put kalyway on i suggest you delete first then reformat. Do not check off all the internet options in customize you need to know which one you use and only check that one. Dont give up too early i must of installed 15 times before everything ran correctly. give up on kalyway it is too far behind....the rest install either 10.5.5 or 10.5.6. Hope i helped a little.

May be Lan(Internet) option on your BIOS has been disable. Try to Enable it may be helpfull. I guest :P

I'm gonna have to just try that. its almost enough of a pain in the ass to make me want to go buy a mac, to bad I cant afford one right now
