Do you using Delta package or Combo package for update?

i used the combo one 10.5.5

In screen of error tell Darwin 9.5.0 = 10.5.5

So confusing...can make a better explanation?

Ps. If you has this error after 10.5.5 update, put back your AppleACPIPlatoform.kext from "old system". I believe this solve your problem.

irc ftw! yeh I make it, i mean the update works, I boot once but i restart cuz there was a problem with the video, now i cant join again T_T

Yay Finally! It works, i believe was the kernel, so I reinstall and pick vanilla kernel so, now im on Leopard 10.5.5, thx everyone

Hey everyone, I use Kalyway 10.5.2 version of Leopard and want to upgrade to 10.5.5 via Official Apple 10.5.5 combo update. I'd like to know whether it's possible to upgrade with this one even tho I am on 10.5.2?

Also, is there anything more I should do before starting the upgrade (except backing up extensions folder)?

My configuration is:
Asus P5E WS Pro
Intel Q6600
4GB Reaper 1066Mhz
GForce 8800GT
TP-Link WN851 802.11b/g/n wifi card

Everything works atm as it is.... Want to know should I process with the upgrade or better do nothing :) ?

after updating from kalyway 10.5.2 to 10.5.5. the system wont boot i get an error message.......

Failed to load extension com.orByte.driver.PCGenUSBEHCI
Class "AppleEHCIedMemoryBlock" is duplicate
Duplicate class
kmod_control/start failed for com.orByte.driver.PCGenUSBEHCI; destroying kmod
Failed to load extension com.orByte.driver.PCGenUSBEHCI

then i replaced the appleSMBIOS.kext from my backup using kalyway dvd in the terminal. still the problem is not resolved.

Asus P5KC P35 chipset w/ICH9 southbridge, Intel Core 2 Duo E6750 2.66 GHz, 2GB DDR2 800 MHz (1GB* 2), Nvidia 8600 GTS, 160 GB SATA 3Gbps Seagate ST3160215AS, Asus SATA DVD RW, Netgear GA311 PCI, Sound ALC883 Onboard HDA
