[Official] 10.5.x Desktop & Server Leopard Update

Hi there.
I tried to make update by the way described here but got kernel panic during installation. And system does not boot anymore.

I have extension folder backup if this can help :)

My system was Kalyway 10.5.1 vanilla upgraded to 10.5.2 with Kalyway Combo Update (and new kernel also).

And hardware are:
Core2Duo 6400
Asus P5K-E Wifi with kext for audio and wifi
8800gtx with EFI string

Is it possible to reanimate OS or reinstall is the only way?

Boot using F8 and type -s on prompt, after it type:

/sbin/mount -uw /
rm -rf /System/Library/Extensions/AppleIntelACPUPowerManagement.kext
rm -rf /System/Library/Extensions.mkext
rm -rf /System/Library/Caches/*
reboot

Now boot using -F -v and see if work.

I have Leopard 10.5.2 from pcwiz, preconfigured as a Vmware virtual machine. Runs fine, no issues. The problem is that i can't seem to update to 1.5.4. Ran the update over 10 times, both on my PC and laptop. Followed these instructions as described (combined update .dmg from Apple, delete the AppleIntelCPUPowermanagement.kext, edit /System/Library/Extensions/Dont Steal Mac OS X.kext). Update comes to a successful completion-no problems there. But...
On first reboot: ***Virtual machine kernel stack fault (hardware reset)***

No matter what I do, same outcome, on both computers. Any ideas for x86 newbie? Please?

Do you use original DMG file from Apple Update?

Do you read it from first post:

UPDATE: Doesn't work with Software Update, need to have .dmg / .pkg file.

I followed the instruction of the first post, I followed this link "Download 10.5.5 Desktop Delta Update", I didn't use Software Updater....
