Need Help Finding Boot-132 For Dell OptiPlex GX620
After searching I downloaded a generic Boot-132 ISO file from this link <http://www.hackint0s.../f181/44314.htm> to use with my legal retail copy of Leopard (OS 10.5.0), however it didnít work. All I get so far is the gray boot screen with the Apple logo, that you first see when starting up an actual Mac.
The Boot-132 ISO (CD) I download does not allow me to enter -v at boot up, also wouldnít let me enter -? either which I thought as odd.
The hard drive I have has not been partitioned nor is an OS installed on it, so consequently no MBR (Master Boot Record). I did see something when I first started looking into doing this that the Boot-132 writes instructions to the MBR so that the retail DVD thinks itís on a real Mac, donít know if this is my problem.
One person I spoke with thought I needed to find a Boot-132 ISO (CD) that is specific to my Dell PC.
Although Iíve been using Macís and PCís for more than 15 years Iíve never hacked one.
If anyone know how to do this on a Dell OptiPlex GX620 using a retail copy of OS 10.5.0, please reply with this information.
