Installation failure on with Boot-132 + Leopard retail + Dell e6500

What I have tried:
I've tried the cpus=1 -v thing, but no dice there.

My specifics:
My system specs are in that first link above. The boot_132 I am using came from the torrent linked here. The install DVD is retail Leopard (the $130 version, not the upgrade).

Am I out of luck?

Edit: I ask, because I am not sure how to describe the "no" icon on the screen when it halts, so it's kind of hard to search for. The tutorials I have read off hackintosh.com's list of info don't mention this specific problem.

I also tried to install the retail DVD with the Boot-132 disk. I would keep getting that error but if you start in verbose mode (-v) it'll say Still waiting for root device. I'm guessing that means it can find the DVD drive or the HD. Not really sure. After a really long time, I gave up on the retail DVD and install Leopard using iAtkos v7. You just download the torrent, burn it to a dvd, insert the disk, it boots into Leopard, you partition your HD in disk utilities, set up the features you want to install, and install it. It's pretty easy. It actually worked too when I rebooted. Except one big problem. After I booted into Leopard when I was done rebooting after the install, the message box came up to install the software updates. I installed them and when I rebooted I couldn't load Leopard anymore. I know it has something to do with my graphics card though. I'm kinda a noob with all this though so I don't know how to delete or add kexts or anything. But anyway, who knows, you might have better luck than me. Give it a try.

I think I know what your problem is, try to costumize in ideneb and take the ICH9x chipsatz that should work...
Also you should take the firewire fix because of your ieee 1394 interface (have the same chip)
