install problems iATKOS 5i 10.5.5 DVD for Intel

my computer is
Intel(R)Core(TM)2 Quad CPU
Q9300 @ 2.50GHz
2.51GHz,3.00 GB Ram
MOTHER BOARD
MSI
MODEL NAME MS-7519
BIOS VENDOR AMBIOS
EXTERNAL HARD DRIVE IS A MAXTOR BASIC 1TB nothing else is on this .

ive been trying for about 48hrs now to try and install this on my external drive but cannot ive been using VMware to install it and ive taken picture of the fault i was wondering if there is anyone out there that can help before i smash my computer up:mad:

I'm having the same issue in a non-vm environment.

paul4tune, did you try using cpus=1 -v -f? you know OSX its not like installing linux or windows on vmware, check pcwiz site to get more info about this or check the tutorial section here theres a sticky for it, good luck

BTW theres a couple image with vmware ready, google it, just need to open the image on vmware and thats it, another alternative can be OSX Live :P

Try a different kernel. :)
