iDeneb v1.4 10.5.6 on Toshiba Satellite A300-1N8
I've been browsing the forum for a while, but I still cannot find answer to a very basic question: Do I have to select all my drivers at the instalation of OSx86, or can I add drivers later, if part of my hardware is not working?
How do I add drivers later, after I get my OS running?
Some of the posts refer to FAQ, where this basic stuff should be, but I only found Forum FAQ with instructions on posting etc.
I also have some useful information: I managed OSx86 to work on my Toshiba Satellite A300-1N8 .
I tried iDeneb 10.5.5, iPC 10.5.6, iATKOS 10.5.6, but finally the only working one was iDeneb v1.4 10.5.6.
The computer speed is nice, there's just some error message at startup concerning hibernation. Boot time is normal, just shut down seems to take a bit long.
What works:
Ethernet card (I selected RTL1000),
Battery status information
Problems:
Sound card not working
Graphics only working at 1024 x 768.
On "About this Mac" there's just 1 GHz instead of 2 (I didn't check, whether it really runs at 1 GHz)
USB flash disk does not work, but USB mouse does.
Bluetooth & WiFi not working (does not matter to me at the moment)
Ctrl key does not seem to work, but maybe it is normal in Mac OS X, cause the keyboard shortcuts are different from Windows.
