iDeneb 10.5.5 working on Intel DQ965GF
It took some doing, but here is my system and what I have done to get it working:
Intel DQ965GF
PNY Nvidia 9400 GT
AHCI SATA drive
Trendnet TEG-ECTX
M-Audio Audiophile 2496 24 bit audio card
* Kernel - StageXNU, no other selections
* Graphics kexts copy from my Macbook Pro 10.5.6. Card came right up.
* Audio. These guys are the best. Works perfectly. OSX86 sound card drivers
* Network. Had a hell of a time with Intel 82545. Would show "connected" and get an IP but then fail or crash. Tried all kexts I could find. Finally I bought a Trendnet TEG-ECTX PCIe card with a Realtek chip after some research. Booted up and no issues at all.
So all the hardware in the machine is running absolutely perfectly. I am posting this simply because I did a lot of research and swapping components and I thought that this may make it easier for others.

Gigabyte ep31-ds3l (Microdirect.co.uk is the UK leading retailer of quality computer components and electronics) , works like a charm, sound, ethernet works fine, just make sure u select chipset driver (ICH7)
Intel quad Q9550
4 Gig ram
geforce 8600gt.
Select x11
In audio driver select ALC888
for ethernet, select realteck (rtl)
stagexnu 9.4.0 or sleep 9.2.0 works fine for me
Select nvidia for grapcis card, navigate to ninject and select ur card by memory, e.g 256, 512 etc.
i selected all applications.
didnt tick ACPI or the other options.
select poweroff fix to be able to shut down properly.
