ideneb 10.5.5 intall on gateway

Hey i have a gateway note book.
T-6836
Processor 2.0GHz Intel Core 2 Duo T5750
Memory 4GB at 667MHz
Hard drive 250GB at 5,400rpm
Chipset Intel PM965/GM965/GL960
Graphics Intel GMA X3100

i tried to intall ideneb 10.5.5 without any coustumizing as i did not know about that.. and continued without it.. it was succesfully installed but after the welcome screen i could not use my key board..
maybe due to not using any coustumizing ..
can u tell me wich setings should i keep.. ??

yeh well you can fix it by plugin an USB keyboard, then install this to get keyboard and touchpad support
