iATKOS v7 - Can't find partitions in "Disk Utility"
I'm trying to fix a dual boot of Windows 7 and OS X on my computer. Currently I have Windows 7 32 bit installed.
I have a Dell Dimension 8400 btw.
This is what I've done so far:
- In the "Disc Management", I've shrunk my C: on Disk 0 and created a "Simple New Volume" on Disk 0 of the unallocated space, FAT32 called OSX.
- Then I restarted the computer and booted iATKOS v7 successfully, but when I go to the "Disk Utility" (as every tutorial says), I can't see any partitions there.
The reason why I can't see my partion there, from what I've understand, has something to do with the RAID-stuff to do with. I believe I have to install some sort of "software RAID" since my computer does not support "hardware RAID". I'm quite a noob so I might have wrong here.
I'm I on the right track? Can I use the Chameleon2 Installer (from the Utilities menu) for this - or what is that? If not, how can I go on with this problem?
