How to install AttansicL1 Ethernet drivers?

I can tear down and re-assemble any PC with a blindfold having built them since the x86 days, but I'm not too proud to admit that I am a Mac noob about many things.

I have (after a great many setbacks) installed Kalyway 5.2 onto an Asus P5E motherboard with a GEForce 7300GS video card. OSX is up and running but I have the following 2 problems to fix;

1. Onboard LAN not working, nor is a US Robotics PCI card I put in to test either. I have found the AttansicL1 Ethernet drivers and have them on a CD but don't know how/where to install these on a Mac. ON a PC they are usually .exe files that self install. Any step-by-step would be very appreciated and I would then know how to do this in the future.

2. Any device plugged into any of the USB ports won't mount. This makes transferring software and data very difficult as the only devices that do mount are hard drives on the bus and dvd/cd players on the bus. Is there a fix for this?

Also, if there a step-by-step FAQ on how to upgrade from 5.2 Kalyway? I am unable to upgrade Final Cut Pro from 6.0 to 6.2 because it requires this Apple Upgrade.

Hoping for any information from other Hackintoshers.

Well I got the LAN working by finding the ethernet kext files and using a kext installer to help. Got the USB working with a USB fix someone posted elsewhere.

So the only thing I really need some advice on the a step-by-step OS upgrade from Kalyway 10.5.2 up to the current Apple OS version. I need this in order to upgrade Final Cut Studio to 6.0.5.

Check the sticky to know how to update, to update to 10.5.3 you will need kalyway combo update then you follow the sticky to update to 10.5.5, theres some guides for kalyway around google it and good luck
