Help please!

I have an old pos Dell vostro 1000 and my vista kerploded on me the other day, So I took an ideneb 1.4 dvd my dad gave me and i tried it out. he selected the stuff for me and the installation went okay. but i tried to reboot it to finish the installation, and it either hangs on the grey apple screen, or it gives me a message asking me to turn off the computer. I just don't get it. I have two AMD 64 bit Athlons. I have an ATI express 1150 card and sigmatel audio 9200. I have a picture of the error message in verbrose mode.. here..
