Help with installing iDeneb 1.4 on HP dv6317

I downloaded and burnt the iDeneb v1.4 10.5.6 iso. Everytime i boot up the machine, the disc spins and i cant get past the first stage of the installer and it asks me to choose startup options, then type "-v" or "?" for more options.

I do this and the whole process starts again. Which is the best install option for my hardware. I"ve been to the HCL but i cant find any of my specs. Here they are:

Please help me as i am a noob.

did you try using another distro? like kalyway or lawless? try to boot using cpus=1 -v and report back

I downloaded the Kalyway distro and i cant get past the first stage. When i type cpus=1 -v, it comes up with this error: /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/com.apple.Boot.plist not found I dont know what i'm doing wrong.

my laptop is almost identical. use iPC, it runs. good luck with the graphics tho, you wont be getting QI/QE out of that 6150.
