Gateway AMD Netbook possible to install/dual boot?

Hi i am new to this and is wondering if i can install/dual boot (with win7) leopard / snow leopard on my Gateway LT310 netbook with the following specs:

MOTHERBOARD: Model: SJM11-YK
Chipset Vendor: ATI
Chipset Model: RS690/RS690M
Southbridge Vendor: ATI
Southbridge Model: SB600

CPU: AMD Athlon 64 L110

GRAPHICS: ATI Radeon X1200 Series

RAM: 1GB DDR2

I found a similar configuration on the Compatibility List: HCL 10.5.8/Portables - OSx86

Does this mean i should try the method mentioned in the compatibility list?

Will i be able to update to the latest version of snow leopard?
