external hard drive n internet problems

i hav an external hard drive that mac dosent detect at all

i went 2 da western digital web site n downloaded da driver for mac but nothing

n when i try 2 get online with ethernet tha light lights up but da mac dosent detect it either i tryed installing a netgear wireless driver for 111v2 but da mac dosent detect it


idk what 2 do ?????

i think it is missing kext (drivers) but idk 4 sure n i dont kno da name of the right one 2 look 4 on google

help would b nice if any one knows
