Can't boot to OSX disk after installing in dual boot
I have two separate hard drives on my PC: Disk 0 and Disk 1. Disk 0 has Windows Vista (installed on C:, the D: is an HP restore partition). I am trying to install and boot to OSX 10.5.6 (OSX86 image) on Disk 1.
I have a DVD with the OSX86 image which I was able to use to run the installer, partition my Disk 1 with GUID scheme and create a single Mac OS Journaled partition on that HDD. Then I ran the installer which completed successfully.
After rebooting, however I don't have an option to boot into MacOS...still only Vista. I tried running EasyBCD on Vista to create a boot option for Mac OSX, however from Vista the drive with OSX is not visible since it's a different file system, so I can't set that option.
When I view the Disk Management console in Vista, it shows the Disk 1 with a Healthy EFI System partition, a healthy primary partition, and a small unallocated partition. I even tried to create the partition with scheme MBR, but the Mac Disk Utility kept failing midway...it only worked successfully if I selected GUID.
Can anyone help me boot into that drive
Thanks!
