'Burning' an iso to a flashdrive?

I'm trying to put osx onto my hp mini 101/1010. Im on the mini currently, and running windows 7 starter. I downloaded dd mac (it came in a "leopard helper") file folder. I make my usb bootable, then clear the files. However, whenever i run dd mac it errors out. I shut down every thing on my computer prior to using it, i dont touch the mouse, anything. I have a copy of OSX on my other laptop which is running windows xp, however, i have the same issue. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Format memstick as NTFS,
then "burn" the iso file using magicdisk

I can't get magic disk to "burn" to the flashdrive...

extract the iso image and copy it to mem stick then, sorry ... aslong as formatted correctly, think i may have been wrong bout that too, FAT32 i think lol sorry hope this helps and works :)
