BIOS and HP Pavilion p6029de
I am a total beginner in this world. I recently bought an HP Pavilion p6029de on sale at a big chain. It is the first "non custom" PC I own ever.
That said, I couldn't resist some modification. It came with 2x640 GB WD HD that I stripped away and substituted with 2 250GB Samsung I had spare.
Of course, to make thing easy, I configured them in RAID 0 and installed Windows 7. So it is a pretty unusual configuration.
I would like to install MacOS X, too (only a test in order to evaluate purchasing a real Apple Mac, of course).
I already tried with Kalyway 10.5.2 (doesn't even try to boot) and iPC live DVD DL (boots but hangs short after showing the apple logo).
I would like to try icchansan guide on "How to install SNOW LEOPARD on HP Pavilion Elite Desktop" but I have a big concern, before I begin.
I have never tryed a MOD BIOS before. Will my system work? Will I be able to revert to what I have now in case of failure?
The configuratin is as follows.
