Asus P6T deluxe installation issues
I got this fixed by editing the asus p6t 132 image. The issue was case sensitivity in the file names on the image. I changed all of the files to lower case and it booted up.
Now I have a new problem. My installation stalls with this being the last line:
ERROR: FireWire unable to determine security-mode; defaulting to full-secure.
Hello, I'm trying to install leopard onto my new rig.
Asus P6T Deluxe V2
Intel Core i7 920
6GB Mushkin ram
320GB SATA Seagate HDD with 2 partitions, XP x64 on first.
DVD-R Drive on IDE/PATA
I've tried the 132bootloader and it starts up the DVD then reboots too fast for me tell what's going on.
The GrubDFE bootloader gives me a warning about the CPU multiplier, I hit 'y' and then it reboots.
I'm trying this guide
and have had no luck. The iso linked does not boot.
So, i've tried the 132bootloader in it's place along with the grubdfe bootloader. For both I have typed in df(0,1)/mach_kernel.voodoo busratio=20 -v -f rd=diskXsY
I've replaced X and Y with many number combinations and nothing seems to work. It all goes back to the "boot:" prompt. Once again messages flash on screen too fast for me to catch.
I'm guessing it has something to do with the disk being a copy, and the DVD drive being PATA, but have no idea. This is my first attempt at creating a Hackintosh rig, so I'm a noob.
Thank you for any help.
