ALMOST THERE: Interaction, but display stuck.

I have installed iDeneb 10.5.5 on my PC (specs listed below) and the installation seemed to go smoothly. But the first time i booted up the comp and it hung on the boot screen (booted with '-v', errors listed below). Well, just when i was about to restart the computer, it starts playing music and then this guy says something about voice over. So i figured that out and now i have completed my setup (admin username/password, keyboard, timezone, registration, etc.) Now everytime i start it, it does the same thing, except now i'm actually in the system. The voice over says "Welcome to Macintosh. Voice over is now activated." But i still can only see the frozen boot screen (with apple and frozen spinner). Does anyone have any idea what's going on?

Specs:
MOBO: PM9MS (By jetway... http://www.jetwaycomputer.com/spec/pm9ms.pdf this is my motherboard only)
Processor: Intel Celeron 2.93 GHZ
Ram: 1.0 GB
Hard Drive: Maxtor 80 GB Sata
Graphics: AGP - ATI - 2600PRO
(installed all patches in setup)

You need to boot in safe mode from the Darwin prompt with the -x option. Use -v also so you can see what it is loading and if it does stop in safe mode and where. Then you can try -v -f on another boot to see if it will make it all the way in real mode.

The MacOS is at it's core - UNIX by way of the BSD world (Berkley System Division UNIX) - you cannot just lump a question in something and throw it here that is non-descriptive as to tell anyone not at your PC what is TRULY going on even though I am a UNIX engineer. Your list of what you think are errors is not enough to tell really. After you get into the safe mode you need to look at the console output to see what really happened on boot.

It could be stopping for two entirely different reasons between IDeneb 10.5.5 between safe and real mode and you should really use the new IPC version - whatever version you can get that is (10.5.6 or 10.5.7 - ppf4 or ppf5)

My IDeneb 1.3 10.5.5 did the same thing - played music - dat dat dat dah dah - etc but you are really NOT "in the system" if it is not working properly and you do not have a full Mac Desktop

No one that knows what they are truly doing can help you if they cannot tell what is really going on - and if you are not ready to learn some UNIX - give up now.
