10.5.5 ideneb seems to stick at restart
Hi I am trying to install 10.5.5 ideneb onto my desktop system as a 2nd boot.
I downloaded the ISO clone copied to a DVD and put it in the system to boot off. Everything seems to work fine in the install starts up detected the drive I wanted to install it too. Started copying files took about 45mins or so finished the copy and gave the message finished restarting in 30 seconds. I pressed the restart button and screen when grey and I got a small rotating circle.
1st time this happend after about 5 mins I hit the reset and when it started to boot it would get to a certain point about 10 seconds after starting the Text section saying dawrin would restart comp and get stuck in a loop.
2nd time I redid everything and have left it with the rotating circle been about 45mins so far so im thinking there is an issue im having wih my system.
Is this fixable or not? Do I have the incorrect ISO image for this computer?
CPU: P4 3.2G (OC ~3.7)
MB: Gigabyte GA-85661-FXM-775
HDD: 40gb Seagate Barracuda
DVD: SATA LG DVD/RW
GPU: AGP ATI HD 3850 512Mb
Also have a raid card installed but isnt detected by the installer so shouldnt be causing any issues.
Any help with this would be great.
I have 10.5.3 installed on another system which is almost identical stats just differnt GPU which is a ATI x1650. My partner set that up but her install was differnt it asked for which kernals to add and other things, where as my installer seems to be more simple but so far doesnt work haha.
