So I am new to the whole "Mac OS X on PC" scene, and I'm not exactly sure where to start.

I guess my first few questions are:

-Can I install OSX from a USB key, or does it have to be DL-DVD?

-What software will I need to allow for dual-booting Vista Home Premium 64-bit?

-My graphics card has 4 different manufactures (BFG, nVidia, etc). It's listed on the HCL but generalized as 'nVidia'. Will it work if it's a BFG card?

-My motherboard is an Asus IPIBL-LB (HP name: Benicia-GL8E). It's a standard socket 775 board with an Intel G33 chipset. Any known issues with this?

Sorry to sound so inexperienced. Though I am very technically inclined, as mentioned before, I have never attempted anything like this.

Whats your HP MODEL? did you check my guide? just read the thread, check some comments and go for it.

My HP model is an HP A6752F

Intel Core2Quad Q8200
4GB RAM
Asus IPIBL-LB motherboard w/ Intel G33 chipset
nVidia (BFG) 7900GS PCI-e gfx card
WD 640GB S-ATA Hard Drive

I read your guide, I'm just not 100% if it all relates to my system as well or not. Mine's not a Pavilion Elite, it's just a Pavilion.

it doesnt matter, it will work cuz is the same mobo, read the comments, most of the machine there is not even similiar to my machine

Do you know if it's possible to do this with a USB key instead of optical media?

Also, my computer is running Vista 64-bit. Will that effect anything within the Mac OS X side if I dual boot?

Yes theres ways to install using USB, check guides for MSI wind, google for more info a dvd is easier btw...

Nope, you can dual boot without problem, but to make another partition in your system you will lost you actual vista partition, you know that right?

Have to make 2 partitions, one fore vista, one for OSX, install vista in the main one, then install OSX, repair vista partition with vista DVD, and follow the guide to dual boot.
