Question Please Help to Install OS X on HP Pavillion dv6609wm

I am currently trying to install iDeneb, or any version for that matter on my laptop.

    Specs:
    HP Pavillion dv6609wm
    AMD Athlon X2 64-bit
    160Gb HD
    Broadcom WIFI
    2.5 Gb Mem

When I boot into the setup and go to "Disk Utility", my Hard Drive isn't found, only the installing Disc is found. I have partiton'd my HD correctly (as I have it running on my Desktop already so I know how to do that). It just seems that OS X cannot find my HD.

Please Help with anything, and also, I have also checked in BIOS for the other settings to try, and there is nothing there.

Again, I ask kindly for some help.

    Thanx!

    try with this

rd= This parameter state what is the boot disk to use (instead of using the boot menu appearing before the prompt) you state the drive and partition in here: diskXsY where X stands for the disk number (first disk, usually primary master in IDE or SATA) 0 second disk is 1 etc.) and Y stands for the partition on that disk starting with 1 as the first partition.
Ex: rd=disk0s1 If you have one disk and one partition the parameter will look like this.

You can try with rd=disk0s1 or rd=disk0s02 if you have a recovery partition

I just want to be sure I do this correctly, I enter that command after I hit the "F8" during Boot, or if that's not the place, where would I do that.

Also if it can be done in more than 1 place, please let me know, I appreciate any help!

I tried that, rd=disk0sY. Where Y equaled a number from 0 to 3 and nothing. It just kept hanging/errored at the loading screen. Where error means the circle with the line through it, and once even a kernel panic. I also tried mach_kernel. But still, it would not find my HD.

Thanx for your help on the previous suggestion!

If you have anything else to try, please suggest, I am open to anything.

Forgot to add this to my spec's, sorry
