    Default Sound working

Found an applehda, dragged into kext uitility, rebooted, and voila. Officially 90% done with this mac. Loving it.

Only downside i have is still the videocard. I got it to work with NVINJECT and i see all the res's, but video is noticeably lagging. Im guessing this is because it doesn't have QE/CI or hardware acceleration(same thing) enabled.

    I'll troubleshoot more later.

    Hi,
You could go to System Profiler, under graphic/display to see if your card there has QE/CI support/enable. It should says core image hardware, and qe supported.
Have you try the ATI ATY_init that I mentioned earlier? If you replaced any kexts then make sure you delete all old ones and rebuild mkexts.
    Regards,

    Hi,
An update for you. EFIStudio is confirmed to work on that NV card. So you may want to try it out.

    Default Yatta!~

Indeed it does! I'm glad you mentioned EFI studio as osx86tools was giving me trouble. I'm so happy to have video working with hardware acceleration. I'm officially set.

    I have boot(chameleon package), bios(catri), ethernet(out of box), audio(applehda/legacyhda), and video(efi studio injection).

2 weeks working on this between work and other responsiblities. Totally worth it.

I supposed that we need to thank Cartri for his wonderful work. That BIOS mod really made thing so much simplier and faster.

    Ratvn,

I hope that i can return the favor. I definitely learned a lot from this forum(specifically you), and also insanelymac. I got a little more knowledge that i bargained for however hah! I was in such a rush to get things working that i would continually mess things up in between waiting for specific people to reply. I must have reinstalled this thing 5 times.

I bought the equipment on 4/17 and didn't really ramp up on the testing until this week. I sacrificed time after work that could have been spent "relaxing". I'm sadistic in that way with IT. I bang my head against the wall metaphorically until i figure out a resolution.

If you have AIM or any form of messenger let me know.

    Hi there,
No problem at all. I'am glad that I could be of assistance. I worked in IT for a short time. You could give me +rep (at the right top corner) so people won't complain when I give them correct and workable suggestions, LOL.
Thank you for your offering to help. I will definitely ask when I get stuck. I still have to install two retail Leopard and Snow Leopard onto my system. So far, it only multiple boot to WinXP, Win7, Unbutu 32 and 64 Linux, Mandriva 32 Linux, and Ideneb 1.6 Leopard, LOL. I know, I don't use that many at the same time.
Thank you for your reply. It is my pleasure to assist, and you're the one who did the hack.
    Best Regards,
