Default Pentium 4 Install HELP CHANGE BOOT KERNEL!!!!!!

I'm trying to install OSX on an old computer with a Pentium 4 processor. Every time I tried installing the ideneb 1.5.1 the boot would hang at
    Code:
    appleintel8254XEthernet
I used the Acronis boot disc to wipe the hard drive and left it without a partition. When trying to install ideneb this time I get a kernel panic after 5 tries I use the ipc build kernel panic then I use leo4all 4.1 and it boots.
    It is currently installing.

The thing I'm wondering is how to change the default kernel used to load the disc. I tried typing
    Code:
    -v kernel=970
    and
    HTML Code:
    -v 970
to load the Qoopz 9.7.0 kernel but it kept loading the Voodo 9.5.0 kernel

for some reason Qoopz 9.7.0 refuses to load
I can get the Kernel AnV 9.6.0 to load by typing

    HTML Code:
    anv -v
but Qoopz 9.7.0 refuses to load no mater what I do.
the problem is when I try to load with AnV 9.6.0

The install will come to a halt at

appleintel8254XEthernet: Ethernet address then a bunch of numbers

I would also like to say leo4all 4.1 was the only system I was able to install problem is when I used the ideneb combo updater 10.5.7 my system would no longer boot the OS. it wouldn't even allow me to boot into single user mode or anything of the sort.
