are you having a problem installing v7 or booting into it?

I used "cpus=1 busratio=12 -v" to install iatkos v7 but at the moment im unable to load into osx. The bootloader loads and then my screen goes blank and my laptop just restarts. I need to fix my windows 7 bootloader as well since that's giving me an error too when I try booting into win 7.

alright i gotit to boot into win7...all i had to do was put my the win 7 dvd in, goto command prompt and type the following:

diskpart
list disk
select disk 0 (disk on which win7 and all are loaded)
list partition
select partition 4 (vista partition)
active
exit
bootrec /rebulidbcd
press y to rebuild bcd.

Now to get OSX running...any suggestions?help?

I'm also have windows 7 as alternative SO.

I could install v5 without problems but when i select to boot with MacOs only got a reboot. I tried to boot with -x -s options on chamaleon boot screen, the result is the same.

Afterwards i tried to install the v7 and i couln't install until i used the busratio=17 option (i saw in other forum the reference values for each processor, in my case Core i7 820QM correspond to 17).

I tried to enable GTX 200 Nvidia drivers and use different enablers, EFI string, Vodoo kernels 9.5 and 9.7 and the result is always the same i'm not able to boot in Mac Os partition because the computer reboots.

I'm also tried to use another distros/loaders like empire EFI and IbootNvidia using the Macos DVD of 8 GB but in these cases i couldn't install because always reboot despite used -busratio=17 option.

Any ideas are welcome.

i think you need to use the cpus=1 option as well. This is to install v7 and while booting macosx via chameleon. I just realised that and osx booted but now gave me kernel panic

Think it was because I had installed the speedstep drivers

My current install config looks like this...lets hope it works:
-main v7 system
-voodoo 9.7.0
-dsmos
-dsdt
-APIC
-AHCI
-disabler
-remove tymce
-intel sata/ide
-apple ps/2 drivers
-/extra folder

IT WORKS!!!! Now I need Graphic, Wireless, Ethernet and Bluetooth drivers..time to get searching...oh and I need a DSDT fix too! It wont boot up without cpus=1 busratio=12 -v boot flag..

Very good job.
You actually got it before I get a chance to tell you the custom selection for V7.
You can also update it to 10.5.8 from apple web service.
But I don't think the i-series are supported until 10.6.2 kernel. So it runs but a bit crippled. This Leopard can serve as a medium to install SL 10.6.2 retail DVD.

I need to get my DSDT patched and osx working without the cpus=1 option. I've tried DSDTSE but no luck. Any tips?
