Default Not showing anything in disk utilities.

Everything loaded fine and I got past the the language and loading installation, but when I go to disk utilities, nothing shows: not my hard drive, nothing.

I read somewhere that I need to enable AHCI, but my bios is the very stripped down limited version that HP ships out with.

Is there any way I can mod my bios and unlock the settings, or just bypass this altogether.

    2.0 megahertz AMD Turion X2 64
    BIOS: Hewlett-Packard F.32 03/03/2009

    I tried iDeneb v1.4 10.5.6 and I am downloading Kalyway 10.5.2 now.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I dont think your Lappy have AHCI, do you have eSata output? try with Kalyway or Leo4all and post back, another thing did you check in the HCL your laptop?

    OK,
First, I am pretty sure I don't have AHCI enabled.

AFAIK, my laptop is on the HCL.

I tried Kalyway 10.5.2 and it only showed the disk and the disk drive under disk utilities, not the hd.

I really have no idea what eSata output is, and a google search didn't really help.
