Default Noob hoping for pointers on iDeneb install

I was hoping to get some pointers for installing iDeneb v1.4 10.5.6 on my system. I've tried ATKOS & Kalyway with no success. I'm not set on this version of iDeneb, it's just the one that I found in the tutorial.
My system is custom built by me.
    Details are:

    Mobo - ASUS P5Q3 Deluxe
    CPU - Intel Core 2 Quad 9550 2.83 Mhz
    Chipset - Intel P45 + ICH10R
    Ram - 4 Gig DDR3
Video - ATI HD4870 1 GB PCI EX
Hard Drive - Hitachi 250 GB
(Booting straight from drive not dual boot)

I've been able to get through the installation until it restarts the computer. After installation is complete it restarts the computer and hangs on the grey apple screen. On this screen there is no ticker or kaleidescope. It just goes to gery apple and nothing else happens.
If anyone has any guidance or pointers, it would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks, Ron

on boot, Hit the F8 key till you get the darwin prompt screen.
From there but with -v then hit enter.

It hangs at Frameworks / Using header xxxxxx ( 50394 ) or any number

Try booting again, hitting F8 key ( Spam after Bios Post )
    then boot with: CPUS=1 -v

    Report back with update
