My parents have a 3-4 year old Dell Inspiron desktop at their home which they want to replace. I was browsing through the wiki and saw the Inspiron 530 was compatible. I asked my parents to tell me what model they have and it turns out they have an Inspiron 530.

I was hoping to just follow these instructions to put OSx on it: tonymacx86 Blog: iBoot + MultiBeast: Install Mac OS X on any Intel-based PC

I facetimed with them and asked them to open up the device manager and I got this info from device manager:
Processor: 2.4GHz Intel Quad Core 2 Duo (Q6600)
Optical drive (2 of them): HL-DT-ST GSA-H73N ATA device & KBWVA GPMNSXA3 SCSI Cdrom
Display Adapter: Intel(R) G33/G31 express chipset family
Ethernet: Intel(R) 8256V-2 10/100 (close)
Sound: Realtek High Definition Audio (didnt get the model from device manager)

I couldn't find these devices in the Wiki.
I'm just wondering if it is fully compatible because the wiki said the following under the Inspiron 530:
Processor: 2.4GHz Intel Quad Core 2 Duo (Q6600)
Optical drive: TSSTcorp DVD+/-RW TS-H653G
Graphics: Asus NVIDIA GeForce GS8400
Ethernet: Intel 82566 Family Gigabit
Audio: Realtek ACL269 Audio

Just wondering if it is worth the effort to pick it up next time I visit and mess with it. Thanks in advance for any help.
