No hard drives recognised
Hi all, i'm having some trouble installing MacOSX leopard onto my desktop computer, i know for a fact that it isn't the disk or the install that are broken, because i installed it on a friends laptop and that works fine (same disk), and i have tried three different installs; Kalyway, iATKOS (v4 i think) and some other one which i can't remember the name of right now, but all three have had exactly the same problem, that being that whenever i go into the disk utility in the install menu part of the install, no hard drives or partitions are found by any distro of Mac OS... Please help me, i've been trying for over 8 hours to get this working, and i am on the brink of giving up...
Thanks in advance, n00bz0rz
P.S my hard drive is an unbranded 320GB sata hard drive if that helps (sorry i can't be a little more specific, i'm not at my desktop right now, but ask and ye shall (hopefully) recieve )
Please post your full specs

Erm, do you want detailed specs or just the essentials?
Essentials, XFX 9800 gt graphics card, motherboard : ms-7318 (OEM board, no support out there for it as far as i can see), 320 GB SATA hard drive, Intel Core 2 duo E6400, 3 gigs of ram... and that's it for the moment, i haven't actually got an operating system on it at the moment, so i can't give a list of detailed specs, sorry if that's not alright, i'll try and find out more if you need them
actually, it doesn't matter anymore i sut a 20 gig IDE hard drive in it (knocked a DVD drive out of commission, but at least it's registered by the installs) But thanks anyway
