Hey guys

a few days ago i downloaded iatkos v1 and tried to install it on my computer.
I pushed F8 and typed -v. The scrolling text appears and after a while there was a grey screen. No applesign or anything else .. just the grey screen. I have been waiting at least for half an hour I think. I tried again - same result.

I thought it might be up to the version. So I downloaded iaktos v7 and tried again. I only got the message "Still waiting for root device" and many tries later "diskarbitrationd[44] unable to mount /dev/disk0s2 status code 0x00[..]0047"

I found some other threads discussing those error messages but never found a working solution.

I heard Kalyway is much easyier to install so i also downloaded this one.
Booting with the Kalyway DVD always results in a reboot few seconds after entering the darwin loader. Typing "cpu=1 -v -s -f -x" or something like that only ends up in a lot of scrolling text with a reboot at the end.


I don't real know what to do now. Is it actually possible to get OSX run on my computer?

Winsystem: Vista 64bit SP2
CPU: QuadCore AMD Phenom II X4 Black 940 3GHz

Motherboard: Asus M3N-HD/HDMI
Chipset: nVIDIA nForce 750a SLI

RAM: 8192 MB DDR2-800
Grafic board: ATI Radeon HD 4870
Sound: ATI Radeon HDMI

HHD is connected via SATA

Nobody any idea what to do ?

I had to put my DVD drive (IDE) as master for iAtkos 10.5.7 to boot up. . .

I ended up making a custom boot132 CD and installing retail. . .
