dear all.

i am a newbie of this forum and using the Acer Aspire One.

i would love to know how to install the iATKOS 5i by using the external HDD. as i find out some thread from this forum but there are not any related.

and right now i am have the iso file of iATKOS 5i already, hope to receive your help for the detail tutorial.

Intel Atom
CPU N270 - 1.6Ghz
1Gb Ram
HDD 160GB

Hi. Just a quick note this forum is supposed to be for posting Tutorial you shouldve posted this thread in the Installation section but never mind

Plug in your HDD. Boot up your iAtkos DVD. Go to utilities then Disk Utility and format the HDD to HFS Journaled. Then continue the installation using the drivers/kexts you need for your system (hit customise just perform installing)

thanks for your information. but i also have a bit confuse about your tips such as:

i have the external HDD with 6 volumes on it, i spare a volume and want to install iATKOS by external HDD instead of DVD. it means extract all information in iso will be copied in that volume and install thought it.

BTW, i have a question, does Acer Aspire One can install the Leopard such as iATKOS? and where should i find the tutorial to install it? thanks in advance.
