    Hi,

Is it possible to run the new released Mac Box Set on my normal Windows PC (Intel C2D, Gigabyte Mainboard)? Will someone try it? Or can you give tipps how to install it?
    Thanks for your answers!

Yes, Apple released a Mac Box Set (iLife 09, iWork 09, Mac OSX Leopard) at the Macworld. Is it really possible to install it on a normal PC? I have a Intel processor but is also needed a special mainboard?

Well, you can't just buy the box set, pop in the disk, and install leopard. You'll need a modified leopard distribution, like leo4all, ideneb, iATKOS, kalyway, JaS, etc...

Once you get leopard up and running, however, you will be able to install iLife and iWork without any problems.

Well, so it's waste of money to buy the original Leopard software, because I can't install it anyway?

But he said that I can't buy the box set and install it so I think it's not possible, is it? Or do you mean I have to use a modified leopard and install that and then I can buy leopard programms?

You have check if you computer is able to run leopard, theres distributions for it that you can try, then if it works in your computer like us you can be able to buy your box set and run your apps without any problems. Dont buy it before trying leopard.

I never used a mac before, but hey I installed leopard here, and I can run everything, I have iLife 08', iWork 09', if I buy that box it will run for sure.

So check your hardware and good luck
