    Default Thanks but....

There is so much info in that post that I can`t understand what is necessary.
update the Bios (I hope it will no t f*ck up my motherboard)
then there are steps from 2-8 which looks complicated...
all the files are broken links (except from the bios update)...
Can someone make a relay simple guide with all the files that I need?
I am not new to computers and to hacking and cracking but this looks to complicated even for me...

Default Thanks for all your help. several questions please

    1) will I be able to update the bios back to original after flashing with the mode?
    2) if I allready have win 7 installed and AHCI is not the default in my system, is there a way to leave it as IDE and still install OSx?
3)I have original (burned on DVD) snow leo and 10.5.6 leo. which will be the best for me to install?
    4) do I have to have 2 SATA drives free and make RAID for the installation?
    5) What are the kext for my spec and where can I get them?
Thanks for your help and for your patient

1- Yeh you can backup your BIOS with Afuwin, is like saving a document, just press save and thats it ;P email it to yourself if you want to

2- OSX dont have full support for some mobos in IDE, so you will need:
a- Install OSX in AHCI and change to IDE to boot into Windows
b- Install Windows in AHCI to easily dual boot with OSX

3- For now we need Leo working to install Snow, maybe later we can install Snow without problem, theres a guide for it in the snow section, im pretty sure at this momment theres guides for your mobo too, your mobo is kinda popular.

4- Yeh you can setup as RAID you HDD, I will update this post soon as possible with a guide for it, is really easy

5- If you read those guides, you can see they show you what kexts do you need, in the distro guide you wont need much, everything is in the DVD, like I said before, this is a popular mobo.

Check this a disc to boot into snow

ask there how it works, and if you need to mod your bios to get it working

Default WOW!!! thanks for your help again :-)

I am a little bit confused with all the different posts and way to do this.. If I will succeed I will make a new guide for all :-)
About the RAID issue... do I have to have RAID? I prefer not to spend 2 HD for this...

I feel like such a newbie in this...:-(
