Discuss need help...new with hackintosh.. at the Installation - Hackint0sh.org; hello guys im totally new to this site and i just finished downloading iDeneb v1.4 ...

    Default need help...new with hackintosh..

    hello guys im totally new to this site and i just finished downloading iDeneb v1.4 10.5.6 for Intel/AMD (Mac OSx86 Leopard)
    and im having problems installing it..i got the cd to boot up and everything but when its time to install the OS i cant find or the hard drive wont even appear in the screen...what am i doing wrong...

    this is what i have...
    msi k9a2 platinum mobo
    4x phenom 9750 processor
    7600gt video card
    and 400gb seagate IDE harddrive...

    Make sure your hard drive is set as master with the jumpers. The installation is having problems with IDE hard drives, your hard drive might be incompatible. Try to partition your drive to FAT32 and boot the dvd again. If all fails, go in your bios and set your HD to ahci mode.

    Try cpus=1 -v, if it get stuck or you get any error please post back

    ok i will try i this tonight wen i get home from work...thanks..ill let you know if i get any errors...ill take a picture of it if i find any...thanks....

    finally i got it installed...all i have to do is use a Sata hard drive and it detected it right away...and it running perfect...now im tryin to install yahoo msg and its giving me problems...it freezes when it is installing do i need a patch for it to install???

    is a DMG? then Panic Kernel? What kernel are you using?

    Nah, its ok just need to check if your system match your kernel... if your kernel is 9.5 then your system.kext have to be for 9.5 ;P
