Need Help Installing OS X via USB with no access to a Mac
OK so I've searched almost everywhere but I can't find any solution to my problem at all. I have an iAtkos v7 iso and a snow leopard dmg but the 2 computers I have are running win7 and ubuntu and I have absolutely no access to a mac computer to use the disk utilities and restore capabilities. Can someone help me to boot one of these images from my usb? Oh yeah and I don't have any blank discs to burning is out of the question. Like I said all I want to know is how to boot an iAtkos .iso or 10.6 .dmg onto my usb without having any access to a mac.

Well my experience with most of these Hackintosh forums is you aren't likely to get an answer. I'm not knocking the members or community but I've seen countless threads where there are a billion views and no replies, so good luck.
I can't help you with your problem either cause I have no idea how to do that myself.
I'd strongly suggest you get your version burnt onto a DVD and boot from that ISO image. You'll be able to format your drive and everything else from inside the install program fairly easily. I think, from my experience, that your biggest hurdle will be picking the right fixes and kext for your hardware. I had to install a few times before I got the right combo picked and got everything working 100%. But it can be done, so don't give up. Good luck with your question.
