Hi, i hackintoshed my pc today to leopard with iDeneb 1.3. Ethernet, audio etc... almost everything works. But i have few minor problems. Please help me with those. First let me tell you my specs;

-Asus p5k-se motherboard
-2gb ddr-2 ram
-intel core2duo e6850 3.0 ghz processor
-nvidia geforce 8800 gts 320mb graphics card
2hdds;
#1 : 170 gb, 25 gb partitioned for leopard, rest is win. Vista
#2 : 80 gb, for storage

problems;

- most of the videoa(xvid, avi...) doesnt work. I installed VLC player and even that only plays audio
-i cant shut down my computer. When i select shut down computer, mac os x shuts down but computer still works, theres nothing on screen though. I shut it down physically from its button.
- i can't (dont know) how to switch to vista. When i open the computer osx loads, no questions asked even though vista is on the same hdd, another partition
- my keyboard is turkish, i dont have the option on mac to select turkish keyboard. Not only i cant make turkish characters, i cant make question mark, apostrophe, commas etc... Because combinations and buttons all changed. All letters in engljsh can be written correctly, though.

For graphics you can use a EFI string in com.apple.Boot.plist or NVEnabler or NVInject. Any of those options should get you QE/CI. About the boot loader trouble you need to flag the Windows partition active and then use install disc to repair. For instructions see here link. Hope this helps

I dont how to do those things. I have no idea what nvinject or anything means. Any tutorial or link that can help?

Go to kext .com download kext helper, NVEnabler can be found there as well. Then use Kext Helper to install the kext it will also repair permissions for you. About the bootloader the link I pointed you to has the directions. Be sure to use your Windows disc. Hope this helps

i have osx86 tools installed as an app on my hackintosh. i went to kexts.com and downloaded and installed nvinjector nad nvenabler. still doesn't work. VLC player still plays only audio. please help me.

EDIT: Ok, thing is some videos can be played, for example .mov files. They only play on quicktime though, i think the problem is not the gfx card but the app itself. Quicktime can't play divx or avi files but vlc doesn't even play .mov files. It only plays the audio on all video files.

I downloaded mplayer, it worked but it played them in half speed, destroyed the audio and video synch. I mean the audio and video didn't match and it was very slow so i deleted it. Am installing wrong VLC? Is there a VLC compatible with 10.5.5? I downloaded it from it's web site. The one under the compatible with intel machines after selecting osx as operating system.

any advices? please help me...

Download Perian and divx plugin for quicktime.
