    Default need help with booting

    How Can I modify boot up. I now have to enter "update" at boot prompt. I would like to select osx then just hit enter.

    What happen is you dont type update? if it doesnt affect the performance you can make modify the kernel flag

    If I don't press enter key then it loops (restarts). press enter. at Boot| prompt enter word "update" it will start normal. This is after i updated. How to modify kernel, i new to mac.

    Edit this:
    /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/com.apple.Boot.plist
    look for the Kernel Flag, maybe you'll see -v there, type update and restart

    i can;t find this in either my library or system library. But there is a folder in the main call update. when i click on it looks like a bunch junk . Went into my library /preference but found no systemconfiguration.
    Guess i'm stuck
    /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/com.apple.Boot.plist

    Ok thats odd, have to be there, cuz everybody have this file to boot into leopard XD
