sorry if this is the wrong section but when i boot up the cd and i click enter to start the installation process but it hangs at something like

Kernal version:
kernal version etc..

i used a few commands lines and tried -v -x -y -s cpus=1 and got a bit further but now its hanging on a screen that says waiting for device uid or something like that. is there anything else i can try?

im using kalway 10.5.2
