Exclamation Is my PC capable of running Mac OSX 10.5 or 10.6?

    hello I need help:

    HP Pavillion a660z
    AMD Sempron LE-1300 (2.3GHz)
2GB 800mhz dual channel sd ram
    Nvidia Geforce 6150 SE 256MB
    ASUS M2N68-LA motherboard
    Real-Tek High Definition Audio
hooked up to my modem and router.

I've been using Windows for a long time and I've wanted to move to Mac, but the day that happens is when their computers are sold for a fair and reasonable price. But seeing as I can turn my PC into a hackintosh, I would love to be able to run Mac on my HP and from then on buy retail disc of Mac OSX to show some support. I once tried to install iAtkos, Kalyway, and iDeneb (not sure about iDeneb though) and I could never reach the install screen. the screen would load and then just when its about to she me options a X appears on the bottom of the screen and it just flashes, preventing me from installing. please help me.

Hi, im new here too and it seems that i'm also dumped but i'll try and help you instead, as far as my little and newbi experience in the hackintosh scene goes it seems that NONE can tell you for sure if your pc is going to run leopard or not, i installed tiger with a hacked OS (obviously) and almost everything went fine except for my video card and i was about to leave it that way when i tried to install office 2008 and it appeared to be imposible since the instalation asks for a 10.5.X OS that and also wanted to see it beyond 1024 x 768, so i decided to go for leopard but to my surprise leopard went wrong in many ways first with leo4all it installed but got kernel panic iAtkos seemed imposible to boot iDeneb installed but got kernel panic too or reboot and now i can come in but the audio drivers, the video drivers and even the airport wich worked absolutely fine with the Tiger version i found were nowhere to be found that added to the problem that i have to put the disc in and type in advanced boot rc=disk0s1 to been able to boot.

none has answered my problem too but it seems that if you want to know what version of a hackintosh release works (or not) for you the only way is to go ahead and try to install it yourself so u can post later the results (and hopefully with more than luck) someone wil answer you good luck to you too man.

Seems like an incompatible system, but you can try with lawless or iPC, try to boot with cpus=1 -v -x

Now google a bit cuz I think that your video card doesnt have support, good luck
