Lenovo IdeaPad Y510 installs iDeneb but can't boot into it?
I have a Lenovo IdeaPad Y510 running 32bit Windows 7 Ultimate and Linux Mint 9
More specs:
Intel Pentium Dual Processor T2390 @ 1.86 GHz 1.87 GHz
160GB with 2GB RAM
Intel GM965 chipset
Intel GMAX3100 graphics card
Broadcom NetLink Fast Ethernet
Intel Wireless Wifi Link 4965AG
(Note: I've gone through Hazard, iATKOS, iDeneb v1.5.1, and the retail DVD, but those did not work.)
Recently I've used iDeneb v1.4 (Leo 10.5.6) and the install went perfectly, but when I go to boot into OSX, the screen stalls at the seemingly common "using 10485 buffer headers and 4096 cluster IO buffer headers". I used some method to figure out the exact problem and I think it said something about AppleACPIFamily but I'm not sure on that.
I've tried booting with -v, -x, and cpus=1, but to no avail. I have read through many forums and made many searches, but nothing really seems to work for me. Would any of you know anything that could help? Every time I do a reinstall I change something in "Customise", so I couldn't tell you what I've chosen unfortunately. Maybe some of you would know which drivers/kernel would help eliminate this problem in the installation?
