Kalyway 10.5.6 installed on External HD?
I have a Kalyway 10.5.6 Leopard install disc that I want to use. Since my internal laptop hard drive is pretty small, I want to install Leopard onto my External HD (400GB Western Digital). I made a 150GB partition on it using Norton Partition Magic, and then formatted that partition with the Leopard Disk Utility to FAT32, but now when I went to install it, it said that the install failed. Why? Is it because I have it plugged in via USB and need Firewire?
I've heard some things about how the partition can't be too big, is this true? Thanks!
