Kabyl Web Page,
macnut can help you too.
dude120, try with cpus=1 -v, and you can always disable in the BIOS onboard stuff like network adapters, audio and install them later.
To get all cores working need the BIOS MOD, Good luck
icchansan, thanks (rep added) the bios update allowed me to install Kalyway OK
Now I just have to get the following working:
NVIDIA Geforce 8800GTS
Onboard Realtek High Definition Audio
Netgear WPN311 Rangemax Wireless PCI Adaptor
Does anyone know of drivers for the above?

Well your video: Here
For Audio you have to tell me your Realtek chipset...
About your wireless no idea, google it :/ seems like you have to do some work with the kexts~

I downloaded the video drivers to a folder on my C: drive (not my OS X) drive. I then re-booted from Vista into Leopard and browsed to the file and tried to install from there. All seemed to go well until Leopard asked me to re-boot now all that happens is that it gets to the grey screen with the Apple spinning logo then freezes I guess I've done something wrong. Can I recover from this or do I have to re-install?
My Realtek chipset is: ALC888 / ALC888T
I'll google for info on wireless card drivers

try boot with -f, if you are using cpus=1, then cpus=1 -f XD
Audio: ALC888 HDA
Download and Extract this, then install using kext helper, good luck

I can't get it to boot so I have re-formatted the OS X partition and corrected the Vista bootloader to boot into Vista only.
I have downloaded iDeneb v1.3 10.5.5 I beleve it is a more up to date distro so I intend to install this.
I have downloaded drivers for my video, sound etc (thanks icchansan) and now I have a bunch of files in two formats: .dmg & kext can anyone point me to a tutorial on installing drivers in these two different file formats once I have loaded the new distro?
I'm a noob to all this so please be paitent
Thanks for all the help so far

I think that is the sound
Realtek ALC268 @ Intel 82801HBM ICH8M - High Definition Audio Controller - Type: PCI
And the wifi/internet
Intel PRO/Wireless 3945ABG Network Adapter - Type: PCI
Is that correct?
